Têtes Noires was the first all-female rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They gave concerts from 1983 - 1987 and recorded three albums. Known for their three- and up to six-part vocal harmonies, edgy themes, and acute musical sensibilities. Formed as an art project by Jennifer Holt, original band members included Holt, Camille Gage, Polly Alexander, Cynthia Bartell, Renee Kayon, Angela Frucci.
